Dr Aileen McGonigal MD PhD is a consultant neurologist specialized in epilepsy. She works in the Timone Hospital, Aix-Marseille University, Marseille, France where she is a member of the Institut de Neurosciences de Systèmes research group. The Marseille epilepsy team is internationally recognized for its contribution to development of the stereoelectroencephalography (SEEG) method, including use of signal analysis. Dr McGonigal’s main research interests include seizure semiology, frontal lobe seizures and neuropsychiatric aspects of epilepsy.
